Ordering and Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payment through PayPal. This includes PayPal account balance, as well as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover cards linked to a PayPal account. You do not need a PayPal account to check out -- you can enter your card details as a guest during the PayPal payment step. We do not accept cash, checks, wire transfers, or gift cards.
Is it safe to enter my payment information on your site?
Yes. All pages on yuoilike.com use SSL encryption, meaning your connection is secured before any data is transmitted. Payment details such as your card number are entered directly into PayPal's encrypted payment window -- we never see, receive, or store your credit card information on our servers.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Contact us as soon as possible at support@yuoilike.com if you need to make a change. We can usually modify or cancel an order while it is still being processed, which is typically within 24 hours of placement. Once the order has shipped, we cannot make changes, but you can return it after delivery under our 30-day return policy.
Will I receive an order confirmation?
Yes. You will receive an order confirmation email at the address you entered at checkout within a few minutes of placing your order. If you do not see it, check your spam or junk folder. If it is not there, contact us and we will resend it.
Do you charge sales tax?
Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address and applicable state and local tax laws. The final tax amount, if any, will be shown before you complete your purchase.
Shipping and Delivery
Where do you ship?
We ship to the 48 contiguous United States and Canada. We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, or APO, FPO, and DPO military addresses.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free on all orders. There is no minimum order value and no coupon code required. Free shipping applies to both US and Canada orders.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days after payment is confirmed. After your order ships, estimated transit times are as follows:
- Continental United States: 7 to 9 business days in transit, total 8 to 12 business days from order to delivery
- Canada: 8 to 12 business days in transit, total 9 to 15 business days from order to delivery, plus additional time if your order is held at customs
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding US federal holidays.
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number and a direct link to track your package. Tracking information may take up to 24 hours to appear after the email is sent. If you did not receive a tracking email, check your spam folder or contact us at support@yuoilike.com.
My tracking says delivered but I have not received my package. What should I do?
First, check around your front door, mailbox, garage, and with neighbors. Carriers sometimes leave packages in unexpected spots or with a neighbor if no one is home. If the package is still not found after checking, contact us and we will open an investigation with the carrier. Investigations typically take 3 to 5 business days. We will follow up with a resolution once completed.
Do Canada orders have customs fees?
Possibly, yes. Any customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees assessed by the Canada Border Services Agency are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are not included in our shipping fees and are collected by the carrier or customs authority at or after delivery. We cannot estimate these charges in advance as they vary by province and product type.
Returns and Refunds
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in their original packaging with all included accessories and hardware. To start a return, email us at support@yuoilike.com with your order number and reason for returning. Do not ship anything back until you have received a confirmation from us with the return address.
Who pays for return shipping?
If the item arrived defective, damaged, or is the wrong product, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. If you are returning for any other reason, such as a change of mind or the lamp not fitting your space, return shipping is the customer's responsibility. There is no restocking fee.
How long does a refund take?
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we process your refund within 5 business days. Depending on your bank or PayPal, it may take an additional 3 to 5 business days for the amount to appear in your account. If you have not received your refund after 10 business days from our approval email, contact us and we will follow up with PayPal on your behalf.
My lamp arrived damaged. What do I do?
Contact us within 3 business days of delivery at support@yuoilike.com. Include your order number, a description of the damage, and photos of the item and the outer packaging. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you. You do not need to ship the damaged item back in most cases.
Can I exchange a lamp for a different one?
We do not process direct exchanges. The fastest way to get a different product is to return the original item and place a new order separately. This way you get the replacement shipped immediately rather than waiting for the return to be processed first.
Products -- Desk Lamps
What should I look for in a desk lamp for working from home?
The most useful features for an 8-hour workday are adjustable color temperature and multiple dimming levels. During daytime hours, a cooler light around 5000K to 6500K helps with focus. In the evening, a warmer tone around 3000K is easier on your eyes as the ambient light in your home changes. A lamp with 10 or more dimming levels gives you finer control than a simple low-medium-high switch. A flexible or adjustable arm is also worth considering if you have a monitor setup, since you can angle the light to reduce screen glare rather than lighting the room from above.
Will a desk lamp with a clamp work on my IKEA or standard desk?
Most clamp-style desk lamps work with tabletop thicknesses up to about 2 inches. IKEA desks like the Linnmon and Alex series typically fall within this range. Check the maximum clamp opening listed in the product specifications before purchasing. If your desk has a lip or edge detail, measure the usable clamping area to confirm it will fit.
My desk lamp has a USB port. Can I charge my phone through it?
Yes, the USB port on lamps that include one is designed for charging devices such as phones, earbuds, and small tablets. The charging speed depends on the output rating of the USB port, which is listed in the product specifications. It is not a fast-charge port on most models, so for overnight charging it works well, but for a quick top-up you may prefer a dedicated wall charger.
Does the lamp remember my brightness setting when I turn it back on?
This varies by model. Some lamps include a memory function that restores your last-used brightness and color temperature when you power them on. This feature is noted in the product description where it applies. If memory function is not mentioned, the lamp will typically return to a default setting when turned on.

My apartment has no overhead lighting in the living room. Will a floor lamp fix this?
A floor lamp is the most practical solution for exactly this situation, and it is one of the most common reasons people buy floor lamps in the US. A torchiere-style lamp that directs light upward toward the ceiling creates a diffused ambient glow across the whole room. An arc lamp that extends over a couch or reading chair gives you more focused light for a specific area. Neither requires hardwiring or permission from a landlord -- they plug into a standard wall outlet.
How tall should a floor lamp be for my space?
Most standard floor lamps are between 58 and 72 inches tall. For a living room with 8-foot ceilings, a lamp in the 60 to 65 inch range typically works well without feeling too close to the ceiling. For a reading lamp positioned next to a chair, the bottom of the shade should generally sit at or slightly above eye level when you are seated, which puts most people around 48 to 52 inches from the floor. Will a floor lamp tip over if someone bumps into it?
Stability depends on the base design. Lamps with a wide, flat weighted base are significantly more stable than those with a narrow tripod or minimal base. Arc lamps with a weighted base on one side are designed to counterbalance the extended arm. If you have children or pets, look for a lamp with a wide, heavy base and check the weight listed in the specifications -- heavier bases are generally more resistant to tipping.
Can I use a floor lamp in a small apartment or studio?
Yes, and many people do. A slim upright floor lamp or a gooseneck-style standing lamp has a very small footprint and can be placed in a corner or behind furniture. Do your wall lamps require hardwiring or can they plug into an outlet?
We carry both types. Plug-in wall lamps come with a cord that runs down the wall to a standard outlet -- no electrician needed, and they can be moved if you rearrange. Hardwire wall lamps connect directly to your home's wiring and require installation by a licensed electrician, but they give you a cleaner look with no visible cord. I am renting. Can I install a wall lamp without drilling into the wall?
Plug-in wall lamps require two small screws to mount the bracket -- comparable to hanging a picture frame. Many renters use wall anchors and fill the holes with spackling when they move out. Some people also use removable adhesive mounting solutions for lighter plug-in sconces, though this depends on the weight of the specific lamp. We recommend checking the lamp's weight and your lease terms before installing.
What kind of bulb do your wall lamps use?
Most wall lamps in our catalog use either integrated LED (no bulb to replace) or standard E26 medium-base bulbs, which are the most common bulb base in the United States.
